Dyspraxia by Abigail Cox (age 15) Many people have dyspraxia, but do they know what it actually is? Are they often clumsy? We don’t have to worry about anything. We can go to CWDS. The charity that helps people like us cope with dyspraxia. At the Keresley Community Centre every week there is a club that is held for adults and children that have dyspraxia. I have dyspraxia and I have joined the club and made lots of friends. Val and the other leaders set different challenges, such as balancing on a wobbly board to improve our balancing skills. It is real good fun. When I was told I had dyspraxia I thought that not many had it until I joined CWDS. There might be millions of people within the district that have dyspraxia and don’t know if they have. I enjoy doing arts and crafts and all the activities that are run by Val and the gang. This is a good place to go when you need to get out of the house.
